I’m Luke Smith, a Texas‐based painter who thrives with my head in the clouds. I hike, I wander through national parks, I watch wildlife, and I soak up bluebonnets, big skies, rugged terrain—and I paint what sticks with me.
 

Each piece I create—whether it’s a dreamy cloud, a lone grizzly, or a quiet live oak tree—tells a story. Sometimes it’s about the beauty of the wild; sometimes it’s about the quietness you crave when life gets loud. I aim to capture both. My style leans toward realism with surges of surreal color or unexpected details—just enough to feel familiar, just enough to surprise.
 

When you look at my paintings, I hope you feel transported: a gentle pull away from noise, a reminder that somewhere out there—and often right here in Texas—beauty, wildness, and calmness are waiting to be discovered. Every brushstroke, every color choice, every subject comes from chasing that balance.
